To balance out the countless occasions where complete strangers offered me help, a roof above my head, food, their trust and friendship, I try to offer something back to people who need it the most. Having worked in the humanitarian and development sector in various parts of the world, my core competence lies in landmine victim assistance. Currently contracted by FSD, and focusing on the remote Badakshan area in Afghan, I’m once again taking the road less traveled – assisting mine victims along the Tajik border area where accessibility is extremely difficult.
